Connecting the pipeline and the project workbooks of a water-efficiency auditor
A firm that audits buildings for water efficiency runs its pipeline on monday.com and does its numbers in an Excel workbook per project in SharePoint. The Make flow described here creates each project's folder and workbook and keeps the board and the workbook in step, both ways.

The organisation
The firm audits properties for water use and works out the savings from fixture changes and calibration. Its office runs the sales and project pipeline in monday.com; each project's calculations live in an Excel workbook in SharePoint, next to the audit files; and the deliverable is a report built from that workbook.
The two halves of the work need each other's fields, and copying them by hand was where projects slowed down. The Make account also handles website form uploads and customer portal logins; this page describes the workbook flow, which was read in full.
The outcome
One flow of four scenarios. The return sync from workbook to board ran 1,000 times between 6 and 21 October 2026 without an error.
667 projects were registered against their workbooks in the flow's data store on 21 October.
The newest piece, utility-rate research, ran 37 times in its first four days in September, eight of them errors during the build, and has not run since.
Where it stops
Only the workbook flow is described. Website forms that put video and audit uploads on the board, the scenario that gives customers a portal login and earlier versions of the workbook sync are in the same account and are not described. The utility-rate step is new and lightly used.
