What this site keeps, and what it does not.

Short, because there is not much to say. No cookies, no tracking, and an enquiry goes to one inbox.

Who we are

This site is run by Skofi, an independent studio building business process automation, AI integration and custom software. For anything about your data, email saveez@skofi.tech.

What this site keeps on your device

The site itself sets no cookies; the one third-party widget that might is described under the Clutch heading below. It keeps a small number of things in your browser's own storage, all of them functional, all of them local to the device, and none of them readable by us or anyone else:

  • That you have read the storage notice at the foot of the page.
  • Whether you have closed or sent the project enquiry form, so it is not offered to you again for a while, or ever, once sent.
  • For the length of your visit only, the page you arrived on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link (the utm_ parameters). These are attached to an enquiry if you send one, so we know which listing or advert it came from. They are discarded when the tab closes.

Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.

Measurement

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and to measure how fast pages load on real devices. Both are cookieless and report aggregates; we see which pages are read and how they perform, not who read them. The scripts are served by Vercel, which also hosts the site.

Clutch rating widget

The contact and press pages show our live rating from Clutch, the business-review directory. When you scroll to it, your browser fetches Clutch's widget from clutch.co, which sees your address as any site you visit does and may set cookies of its own; what it does with that is covered by Clutch's own privacy policy. The rest of the site sets no cookies.

When you send an enquiry

The enquiry form asks for your name, a work email address, where you heard about us, what you are looking for, a short description and a rough timeline. A phone number, a company website and the tools you already use are optional. The page you sent it from and the campaign tags described above travel with it.

We use these details for one thing: to read the enquiry and reply to it. That is the legitimate interest we rely on: you asked a question, and answering it needs your address. Sending the form does not add you to any mailing list, and we do not share or sell the details to anyone.

The enquiry is stored in the site's own private storage on Vercel, where only we can read it. Where we have connected them, it is also emailed to our inbox through Resend, an email delivery service, and filed in the workflow tool we use to keep track of conversations. We keep it while the conversation is live and, if it becomes a project, as part of the record of that work. Ask and we will delete it.

An email you send us directly, or a booking you make through our calendar, is handled the same way. The calendar is provided by Cal.com, whose own privacy terms apply to the booking itself.

The notes list

The newsletter signup in the footer is double opt-in: your address is used only to send a confirmation, and nothing is sent until you click it. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes the address.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Email saveez@skofi.tech and we will deal with it directly. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If the site starts storing or collecting anything not listed here, this page changes in the same release. The date at the top is the date of the last change.
