Workflow Automation

Make.com, Zapier and n8n scenarios built to survive contact with production.

Workflow platforms are excellent until a scenario matters. Then the things that were fine in a prototype start to hurt: no version control, tokens pasted into module bodies, an operations bill that scales with a loop nobody noticed, and a failure mode where the scenario quietly stops and nobody finds out for a week.

We build scenarios properly: filters and routers that express the real business rules, error handlers on the modules that can fail, and secrets in connections and variables rather than in the JSON.

And when a platform stops being the right answer, we can lift the logic out. We have built a runner that executes Make blueprint JSON natively (the same modules, the same expression language, the same routing) on infrastructure you control.

Outcomes

What you end up with

Scenarios that fail loudly

Error handlers, retry policy and alerting on the paths that can break, so a stopped scenario is a notification rather than a discovery.

Operations under control

Iterators, aggregators and filters arranged so work is done once per bundle instead of once per row, which is usually where a runaway bill comes from.

Secrets out of the blueprint

Hardcoded bearer tokens extracted into variables and connections, so a blueprint can be exported, shared or version-controlled without leaking credentials.

An exit route

Blueprint-compatible self-hosted execution (routers, iterators, aggregators and the full expression language) for when per-operation pricing stops adding up.

Scope of work

What actually lands

Shaped to the engagement, but this is the shelf it comes off.

  • 01Scenario design, build and documentation on Make.com, Zapier or n8n
  • 02Audit and rescue of existing scenarios: error handling, deduplication, cost
  • 03Custom modules and API calls for services with no native connector
  • 04Self-hosted blueprint execution with per-module run logs
  • 05Scheduling, webhook triggers and background execution
  • 06Team handover so your operators can maintain and extend the scenarios
Questions

Workflows, specifically

Zapier for breadth of connectors and simple linear automations. Make for anything with real branching, iteration or data transformation; its router and aggregator model is genuinely better for complex work. n8n when self-hosting, unlimited executions or code-level control matters more than connector count. Most businesses end up on Make for the complex flows and keep Zapier for the simple ones, which is a reasonable place to land.
