Keeping a production company's job board and directors' boards in step
A production company runs its jobs on one monday.com board and gives each director a board of their own. A two-way sync in Make keeps them in step in both directions, for new jobs, edits and shoot days.

The organisation
The company makes films and commercials. Its office keeps the master list of jobs on monday.com; each director has a board where their own jobs, shoot days and deliverables live, and both sides edit.
The risk is the one every two-board setup has: two versions of a job that disagree, and nobody sure which is right. The fix had to work both ways without the boards triggering each other.
The sync is built from small scenarios, one per direction and kind of change, all running since spring 2025.
The outcome
Eight scenarios in the account, all switched on; the five described here create and update items in both directions and copy new subitems.
The busiest, the update from the job board, ran at least 639 times between 24 September and 21 October 2026 without an error.
Where it stops
The run figure is a capped scan of one scenario's history; the other scenarios' run counts were not read. Subitem edits, and subitems created on a director's board, have scenarios of their own that are not described.
